 ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE





 I have started doing things differently on my YouTube channel, I have started asking for more input from my audience, I have always been open to input from my audience but now I am really pushing it.





A few months ago a viewer asked me to make a video of my set up for YouTube, it took me a while to get to it, but I have finally done it. Ultimately this is a collaborative effort between myself and my audience, I want my audience to know that by leaving comments, you are helping to shape the channel.


I am looking forward the the audiences reaction to my new video, and I wonder if this video will encourage more audience members to engage with the channel

  THE TYPES OF MEDIA I USE ( Photo by   Julius Drost on   Unsplash ) I was recently watching old episodes of Hot One’s on YouTube that I previously skipped over. (a show where people eating increasingly spicy chicken wings while being interviewed) I came across the the Gary Vee episode, for those of you who are not aware, Gary Vee is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker and digital marketing expert. If you have not seen this episode of Hot One’s, I would encourage you to do so, Gary divulges a lot of great information. One of the things I took away from the Interview was this: When releasing videos on YouTube, If you have a blog, release a short summary of your latest video on your blog, the blog post doesn't need to be long, four paragraphs is enough, and if people like what they read then they can then follow a link to watch your video, apart from giving a brief summary I like the idea of giving the reader behind the scenes information, as I feel this will give the readers a bet

  My Pre-production Journey This blog post   is an addition to my latest YouTube video- making a short film: my process. I will leave a link below. In previous blog posts I have talked about being in the process of writing a series of short films, and now I am no longer talking the talk, I am walking the walk.   What do I mean by this?
